The lighting in Saint Anthony Chapel had never been adequate, so additional lighting was designed and installed during the restoration. Originally, there were crystal chandeliers In Saint Anthony Chapel until their removal and sale by Father Mollinger’s heirs. A search was made for pictures that might show the original chandeliers. It had been planned to have copies made of the original chandeliers and mount them in the chapel.
An opportunity presented itself to purchase a chandelier made of Czechoslovakian crystal which consists of three tiers of lights. The source was the Holy Ghost Byzantine Parish in Charleroi, Pennsylvania. On March 12, 1976, the chandelier was purchased and brought to Most Holy Name.
